Common Complaints From Outsourcing Vendors

If your company outsources some aspect of its operations, you may find this interesting. Here is a short list of common complaints from outsourcing vendors (i.e. the people you outsource to).

  1. Low trust – they have outsourced but still don’t seem to fully trust the outsourcing vendor and/or attempt to micromanage.
  2. Too many bosses and not enough decision makers – lots of bosses and consultants involved in the project, but if no one is empowered to make a singular decision, the outsourcing vendor has the misery of possibly being sent in conflicting directions.
  3. Unrealistic expectations – from ridiculous time lines to drastically cut budgets, outsourcing vendors naturally face a slew of unrealistic expectations from project to project.
  4. Project neglect – micromanaging is one thing, but totally neglecting or ignoring is at the other critical end of the spectrum.
